What the service is

Thobela LetComply is a tracking and reminder tool for UK private landlords, helping you record statutory compliance dates for your properties (Gas Safety, EICR, EPC, alarms, deposit protection, HMO licensing) and store the related certificates. It is a record-keeping and reminder aid — it is not legal advice, and it does not verify, certify, or guarantee your compliance with any law or regulation.

Your responsibilities

  • You remain solely responsible for your property's legal compliance. Using this service does not transfer that responsibility to us.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the dates and information you enter — the service can only remind you about what you've told it.
  • You must keep your account credentials secure and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • You won't use the service for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to it.

Reminders are a best-effort aid, not a guarantee

We aim to deliver compliance reminder emails reliably, and the underlying job is designed to catch up automatically if a scheduled run is missed. However, email delivery ultimately depends on third-party infrastructure (your email provider, spam filtering, and our own mail provider) outside our direct control. We do not guarantee that every reminder will reach your inbox, and you should not rely on the service as your sole method of tracking compliance deadlines.

Plans and billing

The free plan covers one property. Paid plans for multiple properties are handled manually while the service is in beta — expressing interest via the in-app upgrade page does not itself create a binding payment obligation; that happens only once we've set up your paid plan together and you agree to the pricing at that time.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms (for example, abuse of the service or fraudulent use), and will explain why by email. You may delete your own account at any time from Account Settings.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an "as available" basis, in beta, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] is not liable for any fines, penalties, losses, or consequences arising from missed compliance deadlines, whether or not a reminder was sent, delivered, or received.

Changes to these terms
